It is time to end this utter nonsence of being politically correct. It is time to start saying what we think about issues without constantly worrying about irritating trivial matters that may or may not be offending someone. How can we sort out the problems our country faces if we are constantly tiptoeing around important issues.
Well, yes and no, innit? Obviously he thinks he’s not tiptoeing around and important issue, but where has he been in the latest developments on the SOR regulations, for example?
Presumably there’s a compromise: offence takes two, so don’t give it and don’t take it; within this, Prince Philip is allowed to exist (as a one-off, and for being cool), but thugs with a brick in one hand aren’t. So what’s the problem?
